Incline Plate Settlers (IPS)
Compact, high-efficiency solid–liquid separation using inclined lamella design for fine-particulate clarification

UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Overview
Cube Consolidating Inline Plate Settlers (IPS) are advanced lamella clarifiers engineered for efficient particulate removal from liquids. Using a compact array of inclined plates, they create a large effective settling area while slowing inlet flow and promoting laminar conditions. This combination enhances solids deposition and ensures reliable, high-performance treatment.
Compared with conventional clarifiers, IPS units deliver equivalent or superior settling in a fraction of the space, occupying only 20–35 % of the footprint. Their space-saving design allows faster installation and lower infrastructure costs while maintaining consistent, high-quality effluent.
Technical Highlights
- Plate angle: 50°–60° to support self-cleaning and gravity drainage
- Overflow rate: typically 5–12 m³/m²/h, outperforming conventional basins
- Effective settling area: up to 8–10× larger than horizontal basins with the same footprint
Key Features
Clarified feed moves upward through inclined plates for efficient solid removal and clear effluent.
- Optimised Plate Angle
- Gravity-Driven Settling
- Even Flow Distribution
- Compact High Throughput
